Being indie (independently owned) means we can publish what we love.

As proud Michiganders, our focus is on the Midwest.

Since we’re women owned, we love celebrating women’s stories.

These stories inspire and encourage us, and we hope they’ll do the same for you.

You can expect from us a range of fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books. Our authors care about loving others, showing kindness, rejecting cynicism, respecting the earth, and advocating for positive change in our communities.

Occasionally you’ll see a wacky idea from us like our first book, the Women Reading with Cats Coloring Book, which we published just for fun.

Heather publishes some of her books through Bracket and some through major publishers. (She has too many ideas for one publisher, so they can have some of them. We can share.)
